What are some of the health benefits of massage therapy?
Massage therapy has a wide variety of benefits, including physical, mental, and emotional. Treatments can help alleviate tension in the neck and shoulders, promote added flexibility, or to reduce pain and inflammation.
Other benefits may include, but are not limited to:

- More restful sleep
- Relieve stress and anxiety

When should I arrive for my appointment?
Please arrive for your appointment approximately 10-15 minutes before it is scheduled. This allows for COVID-19 protocol and procedures as well as time to discuss treatment.
You should be on the table and ready for treatment at the scheduled time.
How much clothing should I remove for my treatment
This varies based on both the patient’s comfort level as well as the type of therapy being administered. Feel free to share any concerns you may have with Angel.
Should I talk or be quiet when on the table?
It’s entirely up to you. Sometimes one may just want to unplug from the world. Others may prefer to connect in a safe environment. Angel is happy to follow your lead.
Clients can choose to remain silent throughout the treatment; however, Angel may seek feedback on pressure levels or sensitivity.
Should I tip my therapist?
This is entirely at the client’s discretion. Although they are greatly appreciated, they are certainly not expected.
What might I expect post-treatment?
Depending on the type of treatment session, you may feel sore or slightly fatigued in the early days following. This varies based on pressure applied, time between sessions, and your personal practices outside of treatment. It is not uncommon for clients to feel relaxed or a slight bit of euphoria post-treatment.
Angel will work with you to set a proper expectation based on the individual session.
Will I have homework?
Each situation is unique and can vary based on how long until your next treatment, your daily routines, and individual lifestyle.
Angel will provide you with guidance for the coming days and weeks. This can include recommended stretches and best practices. Drink lots of water!
